In The Dark - Night Photography

I’ve always been fascinated by long walks in the dark with my tripod, camera, and some patience. Constantly looking for anything that glows interestingly and sometimes using strobes or a flashlight to paint with. It’s mostly been in the woods, shooting landscapes, reflections in the water, and trees lit by campfires. However, one of my current personal projects has been walking around weathered old mountain towns looking for those hidden gems in the streetlights and neon signs with the idea of having a large collection of night time images for a gallery show or coffee table book.

Colorado Urban Farm

 While working on a photo story, I visited an urban farm outside of Denver, Colorado.  I arrived just before feeding time when the sun was coming up and got to witness probably the happiest time of day for these awesome animals.  It's something that puts a smile on my face every time I look at these photos and wanted to share.
