Fathers Day on the Hubbard

I took my dad to the Hubbard River on Fathers Day.  It was his first time to "really" take his yak out on the water.  At the end of the day he had a huge smile on his face and while he didn't catch anything he told me that it was was enjoyable just paddling around.  I think he might be hooked.  He had a lot of bites and few that fell off at the boat.  I on the other hand caught 8-9 bass most of them were small but a few nicer fish.  All caught on either water mellon seed or water mellon red wacky worms.  This is still one of my favorite places in the area to fish.

Cheers,
