Landscape photography is a negotiation between you and the light. You can scout a location, plan your shot, wake up at 4am to be in position — and the land will still do whatever it wants. The best images come from showing up anyway and being ready for anything.
I've chased light across Texas, Colorado, and beyond, and this portfolio is a collection of what I found. From golden hour on the plains to mountain mornings that make you feel small in the best way — these are the places and moments I couldn't walk away from without raising my camera.
