Where the Water Flows

New water, friends, and kayaks. Exploring a new body of water with my friends by kayak is one of my favorite things to do. That’s why this day of paddling up a Texas creek with two of my good friends and my dog Sam will always be an adventure to remember.

With good intel from Guillermo Gonzalez that there were some lunkers in a small creek in West Texas. He, Ray Martinez and myself embarked on a day of wonder and adventure. It was a great day of dragging out boats over dams, catching bass, swimming in pristine water that you could see flowing out of the earth to start create this creek. We also got caught in a downpour and met a great pyrenees that I called Buddy. It was one of the best days I've had on the water in a while.

Hike to Lake Dorothy

A couple of months back my buddy Patrick and I decided to hike the 4th of July Trail up to Lake Dorothy. It had been a while since I made this journey and I forgot how pristine and beautiful it is up there. Here are some of my favorite shots from this awesome hike.

Hooked on Disc Golf

During this summer of Covid when gathering inside is irresponsible and soaking up more Vitamin D is responsible I took refuge in a great community and the fun sport of disc golf. It started with me playing rounds with friends in Texas in the dark a few years back and squeezing in a round here and there. Then a disc golf course opened up just minutes away from my house and I got hooked.

I just recently started bringing my camera and capturing this sport that I've become very fond of and here are some of my favorite shots.
