Lake Fork and Mill Creek with Jason O

Jason "Ninja" O'Brien and I went out to Lake Fork on Wednesday for a Bending Branches photo shoot and some fishing.  We fished there until about noon and after only catching one fish a piece in the 54 degree water, we decided to check out Mill Creek.  The water temp was warmer and up over 60 degrees on the creek side.  Jason ended up with 5 or 6 at MC while I had few bite and one on but failed to pull it in.  I did however as an acquaintance from North Georgia put it "catch some pretty pictures"

Have a great day y'all.

Shane

Shout out to Shane Hughes for getting up at the crack of dawn on such short notice for an advertising shoot for NRS and Bending Branches Paddles.

Purtis Creek Fishing Tournament

Saturday was the 3rd Capital City Kayak Fishing Tournament for the season at Purtis Creek State Park.  It was a tough day on the water with dark clouds and in and out of rain throughout.  I ended up zeroing out even though we pre fished and caught some bass.  I did however take some pictures throughout the day of some of the guys on the water.

Robbie Milam took 3rd with 51.25 inches

Dan Wallace came in 2nd with 61.75

And Joseph Sanderson walked with 1st with 85.25 inches of bass that day.

Robbie also took Big Bass with 21"
